On the 20th of March, be prepared to get drunk on kick-ass Singaporean artists and free booze at 34 Haji Lane!

RCGNTN has teamed up with the party demons of Sup to bring you what is possibly the best street party ever. Starting the celebrations at 7.30pm, the quiet ho-hum Haji Lane will transform before your beady eyes to become the loudest and most people packed street in Singapore (we aim to make so much noise that the thai discos in Golden Mile can hear us).

The party will see well-known and up-coming artists such as Antz, Killer Gerbil, Anwar, Haiqal, Juffrie, etc. flaunt their assets right in your face. If you’re a loser who doesn’t like graffiti or live painting, we have a photography and shoe and toy customizer exhibition right in the belly of Sup store (if you dare to venture past Aaron and Jacky who will be equipped with too much alcohol for everyone’s own good).

Show off your dancing/daggering/grinding skills with music made by Singaporeans. We’ll be watching, and who knows, you might become the next big thing on Stomp!

So come down, unstick your ass off that cracking chair! Bring your mums, dads and grandparents! There’s no age limit to our party because everyone has an inner party animal waiting to get out. We promise you won’t get bored, if you do we’ll generously offer you entertainment in the form of a drunk Jules from Streething.

COME ON DOWN!

When I looked at FLB, I see its style and design as unique and I see it as not over the top. They don't have a new collection every now and then but they hits you when inspiration strike. I think that's way more important then trying to make a quick buck out of you. A lot of blogshop owners sell whatever they think the majority would buy but not considering the fact that everyone else is also selling and wearing the same thing. In conjunction to their up & coming FLEASHLIGHT BATTERY : Flea market II on the 27th March @ Scape Youth Park. Thus I've specially invited the Sheila and her co.founder Jasine of FLB to share with us how they first brought FLB to Singapore fashion scene, what sets them apart from other online shop owners, entrepreneurs wannabes and more… S=Sheila, J=Jasmine, How did FLB first started? S: we started out posting random pix and then some works n apparels. J: i still remember we were at esplanade's popeyes and sheila was making a bracelet with all the gardenia bread expiry tags while i was enjoying my chicken What does the name FLB means/represent? S: Flashlightbatteriess. We were at some Karang Guni shop and we saw this random book with the word on it. How old is FLB this year and how established are you? S: It's a year old & its establish enough to earn from nuffnang, establish enough to be known on the net J: establish enough to organise an awesome fleashlightbattery flea market. What is FLB style? (emo? British punk?) S: Seriously, we dot have any particular style Despite that, why would people still support FLB and why do they still buy from FLB? S: we don't know. i guess they like our ideas, not our styles. J: hmmm.. its hard for us to be humble about this - FLB ROCKS!!! Hahahahahaha. How/Where do you get the ideas for the clothing's? This is my virgin write-up, hence I’m gonna start with a shoe where most of us have either own it, seen it and I bet my wisdom tooth that most skaters had a pair either on their feet or its in their closet somewhere.

VANS SK8 High!

Yes, there’s no typo error here, I’m talking about VANS SK8 High. It’s nothing new. Its series has been around since the 70s, appearing in different theme, colors & cross collaboration. They are dead comfortable and look awesome. I love it’s simplicity, the way they looked and the fact that it won’t burn your pocket whenever you get a new pair. So if you are looking for something comfy, nice and value for money, Take a chance, take SK8 High. If you are wondering, yes.. I just bought a new pair!

Hot Toys – MMS 110 – IRON MAN

Most of the Hot Toys’ fans out there would have seen the magnificent Battle Damaged version of the Iron Man Mark III. How could I miss the chance to rave on this as well? Hot Toys Company is indeed sucking our money DRY. Firstly, they remake The Dark Knight series to DX The Dark Knight. However it is with extreme similarities and extra weapons, parts, etc… you named it. And now… The Iron Man series. This Battle Damaged figure is apparently the DX version of Iron Man. But as you know, the sequel of the Iron Man movie is coming up in May 2010. I guess Hot Toys wouldn’t mind collecting more money by remaking more figures from the first movie.

This figure is too good to be missed, so pack your current Mark III, sell it, dump it, and make space for this. The figure is turning out more awesome than I expected. More opening panels, a battle damaged flip-top that reveals a new face sculpts, interchangeable chest plate, crushed helmet, a new base… It’s truly a superior figure to the standard Mark III in every way. I think the light-up feature might have been sacrificed for the sake of adding more moveable parts, but I hardly ever turn the lights on anyway. I can’t wait to get my hands on this.

The Battle damaged IRON MAN MARK III features:
